Broken Windows

Harvey Nichols

It’s 1912. In London’s West End, the suffragettes are smashing shop windows to make a point that the government care more about broken windows than women’s lives. Fast forward to 2018. Reflecting on the Women’s Vote centenary and Harvey Nichols long history of supporting women in the workplace, we invited female leaders in their field, led by Dr Helen Pankhurt (Emmeline’s great granddaughter) to smash our windows. ‘Deeds Not Words’ Emmeline once said, now perhaps it’s Deeds … And Words across social media, print and news bulletins everywhere.
